12 in 2012:
1. Apply for grad school for the fall of 2013.
Still need to work on all that this entails, but I've got until September.
2. Minimalize my belongings.
I've had a few impulse buys lately, but they've all been for my nephew and sister-in-law (who is on bedrest until May with baby #2). I've put a few more things in my donate pile and gotten rid of a few other things. I need to actually take the donate piles to Goodwill or church (my church is doing a clothing drive during Lent).
3. Move.
I'm leaning toward leasing from this one particular company, but I can't sign a lease with them until mid-May. I'm have to be out of my current apt by July 25, so I'm hoping to start a lease for either early or mid-July.
4. Organize my living situation.
[shame face]
5. Go on an archaeological dig.
My deposit is in! I received my packet from them this past weekend. I have to start gathering supplies to take with me. Excitement!
6. Go to the gym regularly.
Fail. Big fat fail. BUT I did go on a couple of walks recently. The weather here has been wonderful, and it's so nice to be outside. I want to start the couch to 5K thing again. I was going to start running before work, but the time change messed me up. Hopefully I'll adjust soon enough to start getting up earlier again.
7. Publish a paper.
Still working on it. I have to compile these huge tables. I work on them for multiple hours every day and still haven't finished. It may take another year.
8. Read my Bible and pray regularly.
[bigger shame face]
9. Send more mail.
I've sent packages to my nephew and sister-in-law. That wasn't what I had in mind when I wrote this goal, but it counts.
10. Keep up with school work.
Not doing as well on this as I'd like.
11. Read more.
This goal is still slow going.
12. Enjoy time with myself and with others.
Those walks have been definitely helping me enjoy time with myself more. And I've done the conservatory, and the zoo visit with dude was nice. I believe that this goal is being successful!
