Midweek confessions

- Did y'all hear about the "99 Problems" controversy on "The Voice?" I heard about it (I don't watch the show) and how Christina was hammering the guy about it being derogatory toward women. I totally love "99 Problems." Seriously. I have it on my iPod. I just discovered that I don't have it on my iPhone, and that makes me sad. I have to remedy that.

- I've started (finally) training for a 5K. By that I mean I've been jogging in place during the commercial breaks on Bones or while playing with my Wii Fit. But that totally counts, right? (Edit: I wrote this yesterday, but I actually got up and went on a run this morning to get out some frustration. A real run outside. No Wii involved. So is this confession still valid?)

- I had to start using baby shampoo because my hands started having an allergic reaction and breaking out in blisters after I started using the spare shampoo that I had. Now my head smells like a baby. Did you know that they baby-proof baby shampoo? I didn't. Not until I tried to use it and the shampoo didn't just squeeze out. Then I couldn't remove the foil liner-thingy. It was highly baby-proofed.

- I had to pay for a couple of medical tests that I had run a while back (and by "I had run" I mean "I went to the gyno and he ordered some tests other than just a pap without consulting with me first so I have to pay for the extra tests"). I decided to use my credit card since I don't have much cash left in my checking account other than rent. Plus, if I use my cc I get points. While I'm unhappy about the costs of the tests, I'm glad I get the points.
