So my journey has felt a little bipolar lately. I'm up then I'm down then I'm up then I'm down, all in a matter of minutes sometimes. I get really excited because I feel like I'm getting stuff accomplished and then it's like "Fail! Wrong! No dice! Try again!" so I try again, only to end up stuck in that same cycle. It's rough! Today, however, I succeeded with a huge work accomplishment. I finally have the website that I've been working on for work up and running. Let me explain, my boss is on this grant that requires a website to be built, and it includes money toward someone's salary. He appointed me to be that someone (no pay raise, they just allocated different monies to pay my salary than before). I had to build a website from scratch. I've never built a website before. I've had a blog, but never had to build the website, including template before. This has been a difficult and frustrating adventure. Just about the time that I think I have things ready to be uploaded, I get slapped in the face with some problem with it and have to start over. I get really excited, then I feel like I just need to curl up in a ball and cry. But now it's up and running!!! Phew. Finally. That is so super exciting.
To make my anxiety even worse, we're moving locations at work starting next week, and we're estimating that it's going to take between two and three weeks to execute this move. And I'm one of the two people in charge of this whole thing. My car is having trouble so I have to try and fix it this weekend. (Yes, I am a girl; yes, I have worked on cars before. My father thought it was important that I know how to do these types of things before I start to drive. It has actually been very handy knowledge in the past.) I have about a bazillion pages to read for my class on Monday and I need to do some GRE studying all at the same time. And I have at least one friend who wants to hang out this weekend. My goal tonight is to read a few of the pages for my class. And maybe try to fit in some yoga. Maybe only about 15 min, but that's better than none! So, priorities:
Thurs:
1. read 10 pages for class
2. 15 min yoga
Fri:
1. work
2. pick up stuff for car
3. 30 min yoga or run
4. finish reading assignment 1 for class
5. GRE vocab
Sat:
1. GRE study
2. car
3. class reading #2
4. friend time?
5. 30 min yoga
Sun:
1. church
2. 30 min run
3. class reading #3
4. GRE study and vocab
Ok, if I'm going to get the Thurs night stuff done, Imma have to get on that! :)
