I'm linking up with E, Myself, and I again this week for Midweek confessions.
- You will notice from the lack of a banner for this post that I didn't even bother trying to figure out how to add that. That is due to a combination of laziness and a cold/sinus infection.
- I made cookies last Sunday. I gave them all away. I didn't eat a one. Aren't people supposed to eat their own wares?
- I finished The Hunger Games trilogy this week when I should have been working on my paper that was due on Monday. Now I have to go see the movies.
- I've started writing these posts throughout the week because I know that I'll forget things that would be fun to put on here. Not that I'm interesting enough to think that any of these things are fun (except maybe reading The Hunger Games). All this really proves is that I have an extremely short term memory when it comes to my daily life.
- Speaking of short term memory for daily life - I've had to start keeping a log of everything that I do at work. This is so that at the end of the day I can actually prove to myself that I did something other than answer emails.
- Dude and I watched Friends with Benefits this weekend. I almost cried. No joke. And I'm not a crier. I'm blaming my emotional state on the cold.
Mkay, that's the end for this week. I have no more energy to think of anything else.
I did the exact same things with the Hunger Games last week... I pretty much gave up sleep and homework until I'd finished all three, and it's killing me that I still haven't seen the movie!
ReplyDeleteAnd I completely understand almost crying in Friends with Benefits, it's a surprisingly amazing movie.
I'm hoping to go see it this weekend. But I wanted to let a few of the crowds die down first.
DeleteAnd Friends with Benefits was much better than I thought it was going to be! I saw No Strings Attached a while back and I thought FWB was just going to be full of the cheese factor too, but the issues that were thrown in with the dad gave the characters so much more depth than I had anticipated.
You didn't eat one cookie?! I wish I could do that, seriously! I just finished the first Hunger Games book and I really want to read the second one. Was the second book as good?
ReplyDeleteI think I wasn't as interested in the cookies because I had a cold. The idea of eating anything sweet didn't sit too well with my stomach. And the second book was definitely as good as the first. I enjoyed the entire series.
