I'm linking up with "E, Myself, and I" for Midweek Confessions. Apparently this one should be "end of the week confessions" since it's Friday.
- I went to bed at 8 pm on Wednesday. I'm old. And I had a headache. So I'm using the headache as my excuse.
- I have decided that I am going to learn Latin this summer, so I bought some Latin books. Dude insists that this makes me a nerd.
- I took Monday off from work and did absolutely nothing other than go get my ID badge to begin volunteering at a museum and go to class. It was great.
- Class was moved to a restaurant around the block from where I live. That was awesome. Half of my class is under 21. I ordered myself a beer. I can do that because I'm old. Three years older than the next oldest person in my class, who is around three years older from the next oldest people in the class. (I'll let you come up with an approximate age since a lady never tells how old she is.) I had a beer and apple pie for dinner that night. Dinner of champions.
- Fasting ended on Sunday morning so Sunday I went to brunch and got a breakfast that included bacon, sausage, and ham. Dude and I had Mexican that night. I had a bacon burger yesterday. My digestive tract hates me after not eating meat for about two months. I've got to cut back off that stuff.
- I had an entire conversation last night with my mother and sister-in-law on mucus plugs. As in "what should it look like when you're pregnant and lose your plug." It was a disgusting conversation. And now I know more about pregnancy discharge than I ever needed to know. And people wonder why I'm so disgusted at the idea of being pregnant. For those of you who love it - more power to you! I recommend staying in ignorance on these things. On the plus side, Dude overheard my half of the conversation and I think he was even more disturbed by it than I was. Now he's questioning the idea of pregnancy. Maybe this whole trying to get him to consider adoption thing will actually work!
I'm going to wrap this up now. Have a wonderful weekend!
