- I haven't washed my hair with shampoo in over 1.5 weeks. I've been trying the baking soda and ACV wash/rinse thingy. I've heard that you have to go through a transition period. I'm ready for my transition period to be over. I feel like my hair looks like some kind of grease ball. I keep letting it dry some every day and then putting it up in either a bun or a braid. I'm just going to start taking my little thing of baby powder with me to work so that I can go in the bathroom and rub some in when it starts to look or feel greasy.
- I recently found out that Anthrocon (aka. the Furries Convention) will be in town next week. My mother is completely freaked out by furries after the CSI episode on them many years ago. I feel the need to go downtown and take pictures to send to her. I'm really hoping that I can find someone to go with me so that I can get a picture of me with one. That will really freak her out. I may be a bad daughter.
- I read a comment on a blog where the person was saying that she got lice while on an airplane. Now I'm a little extra freaked out by flying. I was already kind of freaked out by the fact that the air is recirculated to it's extra easy to get other people's illnesses. Now I have to worry about lice too? Gross. (Yes, I get the irony that my freaking out about flying only deals with catching other people's germs and not with a potential loss of life. I blame this on my mom. She used to throw crackers and OJ boxes at us from our doorway when we were sick to cut down on the possibility of her getting sick. And now I'm the same way.)
- I started writing this post yesterday and then while riding the bus to work today I started thinking about the lice comment. Now I'm worried about getting lice on the bus. Ew. I don't know if I'll ever be able to use public transportation ever again without thinking of that. Gross.
